Springlands Hotel

Springlands Hotel is named after the nearby crystal clear springs. Kilimanjaro, like all great mountains, attracts precipitation - rain and snow. Much of the water collected on the slopes of Kilimanjaro is absorbed by the porous volcanic ashes to emerge onto the surrounding plains as numerous springs bringing life to what would have been dry bush country. The springs just outside of the hotel feed a large area of paddy fields and nearby forests.
